Dinner at Quay

Holy moly! Dinner at Quay was amazing! While my Younger Sister was back in Sydney, we spent our time eating as much food as possible. I wanted to take my family to a really nice restaurant since we had some lovely meals while holidaying in Japan last year, but we have never tried any places in Sydney. So after almost forgetting to make a reservation, my family and I found ourselves sat inside Quay, surrounded by beautiful views of Sydney Harbour.

We ordered some drinks to start — something alcoholic for The Parents and something non-alcoholic for my Younger Sister and I — while staring at the menu. After some discussion, we agreed to have their tasting menu which was 8 courses (plus the cute and tasty little amuse-bouche you see up above).

Oh. My. Days! The food was sooooo amazing! Words cannot even describe how delicious everything was. I savoured every bite, and I’m sure my family did too. Just looking at that snow egg has me salivating. Dinner at Quay was such an awesome experience. At AU$235 per person for the tasting menu it is expensive, but I think it was totally worth it for the food, service and Sydney Harbour views.
