Funny Business

Last Monday, my friends and I went to see Jimmy Carr live at Sydney’s State Theatre. It was a fun two hours of non-stop laughs. The first time I ever saw Jimmy Carr was on TV as a guest on QI, and I’ve loved him since then. So, I jumped at the opportunity to see him live.

Some people may find his dark sense of humour a bit much, but I personally love it. He has great one-liners and an even better laugh, which I’m chuffed that I got to hear in person. During the show he invited people to heckle, and during intermission he encouraged people to text him anything at all. The results were hilarious.

Jimmy Carr is still doing his ‘Funny Business’ tour in Australia and I would highly recommend going to see one of his shows if you love a bit of dark humour delivered in a posh English accent. It’s funny business, indeed.
