Streets of Bondi Junction to Tamarama

As I was putting together my Taking Stock post for November, I came across some photos I took while walking from Bondi Junction to Tamarama Beach for Sculpture by the Sea Bondi. One of my favourite things to do is walk through pretty neighbourhoods and stare at random things that catch my interest. After that, it’s secretly taking photos of said things and hoping no one saw me and thinks I’m weird. Anyway, just thought I’d share some random photos of things that caught my eye.

It was a really lovely walk, and reminded me that I need to do more walking and sight-seeing like a tourist. Can you believe that I’ve never explored Bondi? Or the Royal Botanic Gardens? Or the Art Gallery of New South Wales? The list goes on! I’m ashamed to call myself a Sydney-sider. The only good thing is, I’ve now got plently of places on my “must-see” list. And of course I’ll be taking lots of secret snaps when I go.

Well, the city is so big there are plenty of unexplored places for everyone. But you’ve never been to the Royal Botanic Gardens? That’s a surprise. I hope you enjoyed your stroll through Bondi. Lovely photos, Sandy.

Can’t explain why the Royal Botanic Gardens have missed my radar, but now I’m eager for a visit. Also, I recently learned that it’s celebrating its 200th birthday next year, so more reason to visit often! πŸ™‚

Thanks for your kind words, Draco. I did enjoy my stroll through Bondi.
