Popping by Parramasala

The Parents and I headed to Prince Alfred Square in Parramatta to check out Parramasala a few weekends ago. Thought I’d share a few photos I took that day.

The Spice and Herb Garden, where they were brewing some teas for people to try.

I missed the name of this, but the ladies were using coloured powder to create this. They started the motif in the middle, then later drew outlines and invited festival attendees to add to it.

Part of the ‘Adorned’ exhibition.

Re-fueled with a Tandoori Chicken Gozleme and an Affogato.

Lots of pretty trinkets and jewels. I somehow managed to escape buying all the jewellery.

I had a good time, but I’m not sure it’s my kind of festival. We checked out all the stalls, ate some food, and watched some of the entertainment. I didn’t ride a camel. Maybe that’s where I went wrong.
