I may be a bit late to this Daily Post prompt party, but nevertheless I made it and I couldn’t really pass this opportunity to review my year so far. It’s good to reflect on what’s happened and to plan ahead for the things you want to make happen. Personally, I have been looking at my goals for 2015 regularly in the past month and have come to the conclusion that it needs some re-working. Situations and priorities change, so I guess goals do as well.
Goals aside, it’s been a very mixed year so far. I don’t feel that I’ve achieved much, if anything at all. At the very least, I’m slowly de-cluttering Hello HQ and am planning updates for parts of the house. I’ve also stepped out of my comfort zone and enjoyed doing things away from home, which is a big deal for my homebody self. My favourites so far has been re-visiting the Sydney Chinese Gardens and my first ever trip to the Sydney Aquarium. Man, that was fun.
On the downside though, the biggest challenge so far this year has been dealing with my Dad’s health. Things are okay now, but that was certainly a crazy and anxiety-filled few weeks. I think I’m still catching up on sleep from that time. Also, dating Super Boy has had its fair share of ups and downs too.
Overall, it’s been an okay year so far. There have been good times and bad times, which is pretty standard. I can’t really complain. I’ve just got to plan the rest of my year and hopefully all the good things will outshine all the crappy things. I have lots of ideas buzzing through this peanut-sized brain of mine, so watch this space!
