I feel that I was lucky enough to have been around Auburn again for work. With up to two hours between home visits, and not liking the idea of driving 30mins back to the office only to drive 30mins back out again, I decided to (with permission, of course) return to Auburn Botanic Gardens to finish off some work and take a quick stroll through the Japanese Gardens again.
The weather was a lot nicer than when I went last time, so there were more people strolling through. Also, because Spring has sprung, there was a lot more green to be seen!
And, we were greeted by a special resident of the gardens…
As I’ve mentioned before, I kind of have a thing for gardens, and I would highly recommend a visit to the Japanese Gardens in Auburn Botanic Gardens if you get the chance. It’s a great place to de-stress and re-energise yourself.
I didn’t think there was a large Japanese population in Auburn. Do you know the reason for it being built there?

Honestly, I’m not sure why it was built. For superficial reasons, perhaps? It is a beautiful garden.
